Tips for Inspiring the Next Generation

The next generation of workers and career changers can reach out to our role models directly via email or phone to connect, or role models can be invited in. Use this guide to make the most of every interaction.

There are four ways to connect with a role model

Whether you are starting out or changing careers, our role models are here to support you. You can reach out directly, or invite them into your classroom, workshop or community.

  • Reach out via email or phone: Connect directly with a role model to ask questions, seek advice, or start a conversation about careers in Construction, Energy, or Manufacturing.
  • Invite them into your classroom or workshop: Role models are available as guest speakers and industry representatives, bringing real-world knowledge and hands-on experience into learning environments.
  • Host a site tour: Role models can open the doors of their workplace so young people and career changers can see the industry up close and meet the people who work in it.
  • Panel discussion or information session: Role models sit alongside peers to answer questions, share stories, and give your audience a real picture of what working in these industries looks and feels like.
